Medical MTPE Services

When you have a high-volume project that needs to be translated, the cost can be daunting. Do you use human or machine translation? Human translation will be a much more accurate translation, but the cost will be high. On the other hand, machine translation will have awkward syntax and incorrect vocabulary. Fortunately, in Medicalize, we check different types of errors that machine translation can generate. These errors typically include:

  • Terminology errors
  • Proper nouns translated
  • Spelling and grammar mistakes
  • Syntax issues
  • Inappropriate/offensive language
  • Mishandling of variables
  • Omitted words
  • Writing style

We also do all types of MTPE:

  • Full post-editing: The goal of full post-editing is to make the most of the usable parts of the MT text, and at the same time, to make the translation linguistically correct, stylistically good, terminologically accurate, and consistent.
  • Light post-editing: The goal of light post-editing is to make the MT text understandable and adhere to client's specific requirements concerning the quality of certain elements of the text, e.g.: the client may ask to make sure that product names are left untranslated, or always capitalized, etc.

With Medicalize, you can have the best of both worlds: a high-volume Arabic translation that meets your quality standards.
